The Early Years Curriculum

In Early Years, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which encompasses seven areas;

●       Personal, Social and Emotional Development

●       Physical Development

●       Communication and Language

●       Literacy

●       Mathematics

●       Understanding the World

●       Expressive Art and Design

Throughout the day we observe and support our children in play, gaining insights into independent learning and enhancing what we offer based on the evolving interests in our Nursery classroom. This supports our practitioners to gather a holistic picture of each individual child’s learning and development each day. We plan for regular adult led interactions and set out exciting learning opportunities through ‘continuous provision’, in both our inside and outside classroom environments.
